Poetry has the power to do amazing things, because nothing is more powerful than words.
Baseball is one of our greatest sports. After all who does not enjoy a great game of baseball. What if the World Series game was Jesus’ team and their opponents were satan’s team. One game and Winner take all. Well get ready for some action, you do not want to miss this world-changing game. BATTER-UP.
STRIKE 3
The Holy Spirit was behind the plate he raised his hands and said let’s play ball. Then satan and eight demons walked on the field dressed in red looking mean and tall.
Moses batted first, he walked to the plate and prayed then swung with all his might. But satan’s fastball was blazing hot to fast for human sight.
John the Baptizer was up next he said Jesus I want let you down. But satan struck him out and the demons jumped for joy but the Angels never made a sound.
Abraham dropped his head. Peter fell to his knees. Noah stood up and said this bat is mine. But Jesus rose up and said Noah stay back, I am going to the plate this time.
As the King of Kings walked to the plate, satan was grinning from ear to ear. Then he looked my Lord straight in the eye and said Jesus the end is near.
The Lord cried out and swung his golden bat. It shook the earth from the sky to the sea. Jesus said satan all power is in my hands, you will never get strike 3 on me.

What is going to happen when Jesus and satan meet in the ring? Well I wrote a poem about satan getting his rear-end kicked and I want to share this wonderful match with you. No I did not forget to capitalize the name satan. I refuse to capitalize the name of satan. This is how things are done in the world of a true Believer.
IN THIS CORNER
In this corner all dressed in red from his fiery toes to his blazing head. He calls himself satan the announcer said with a grin. He’s been training very hard and this fight he plans to win. Then the announcer turned from his left to his right and there was satan’s opponent dressed in Holy White. God said satan I have waited a long time to get you in this ring, and when that bell sounds I am going to show you who is King. So the bell did sound and satan started to attack then God threw a heavenly haymaker and satan was on his back. The referee counted one, two, three, then he said it is no use satan is out for eternity.

JESUS, WAIT A MINUTE
Jesus wait a minute. I know you are busy but I have something I need to say. I may not be here tomorrow so I need to tell you today.
I know you are going to the hospital to do an operation and then check on a child left alone. Then swing by Texas a few seconds from now, it seems the wind down there is a little to strong.
I know you are going by the airport later to make sure everything is alright and then tell the moon how long and bright you want him to shine tonight.
I know you hear that sick little boy calling out your name, and all the farmers asking you when is it going to rain.
I know an earthquake is in California and you do not have time to waste, but you have to go by the funeral home first and wipe the tears from a mothers face.
Now Jesus wait a minute, yes I know you are busy that is real easy to see. I just want to say one thing. Thank you for watching over me.
